The deed to the Church property dates back to March 30 1898 and is a part of the United Brethren Church denomination which was formed in 1841. ( More information about our denomination can be found at www.ub.org ) The parcel is from property owned by Wessley & Dona Kline and was sold to the trustees of the United Brethren in Christ Church for one dollar. The original building with slate roof & stone foundation had the over flow section to the left added on in 1992. The addition also created indoor plumbing for the first time in the Church's nearly 100 year existence. The addition also created a basement with Sundy School rooms.
